Trying to figure this out...do you wear gardening gloves while sewing? I did that right through my thumb nail once. Luckily I had long nails and it wasn't through my finger. The quilt is beautiful!
I am definitely no sewer cause I have no idea what free motion friction is:) Have to say though that you are one funny girl!
