Exercising Nate

Going from working out everyday for 7 months to just making a baby & getting fat for 9, has  been harsh on my body. I did not work out a single day of my pregnancy with Charly due to nausea, sciatic pains, discomfort, & just plain laziness. I gained the most weight ever & have had the hardest time losing it so far. All muscle previously gained has long been gone. While Jared was home I could go running everyday, so I did, until my knee yelled at me, "Hello!! What are you doing?? You haven't used me forever, what are you expecting me to do?" So videos it's been. Here I'm doing some Pilates, Nate is trying it out. How cute is he? Nate always tries a video with me. From jumping jacks, stretching, pilates, jabs, sit ups are my favorite to watch him do. Thanks for your support little one.

Bunches of Charlotte

We have taken over 5,000 pictures with our camera. Wow. I don't want to be accused of not taking as many pics of my other kids as I did my first. Here's a bunch of Charly. Look at all the pink, I'm very proud of myself for dressing her like a girl.

Pay it Forward

I found this on my friend's blog (Thanks Jessica) Hope it'll be fun!!

The rules:

1. Be one of the first THREE bloggers to leave a comment on this post, which then entitles you to a handmade item from me.

2. Winners must post this challenge on their own blog, meaning that you will pay it forward, creating a handmade gift -anything!- for the first THREE bloggers who leave a comment on YOUR post about this giveaway!

3. The gift that you send to your 3 friends can be from any price range and you have 365 days to make/ship your item (no pressure there!). This means you should be willing to maintain your blog at least until you receive your gift and have shipped your gifts. And, remember it’s the spirit and the thought that count!

4. When you receive your gift, blog about it! If you are not one of the first three to comment on this post, you can still play along. Go ahead and start your own Pay It Forward chain, and encourage your blogging friends to do the same! It's all about paying it forward. Or just lurk the blogs of the people who respond to mine- then you'll be ready to add yourself in the mix.

Family March 2009

After some screaming, bribery, mommy loosing it & yelling at the boys, we found 3 pictures that we liked. So here we are for the first time together with Charly.

After several comments on Jared's "chops" I made him grow them after watching "North & South." Mr. Thornton is such a hottie. If you have Netflix, you can watch it on your computer.

Thanks Aunt Kirsti!!

We went to bounce town with some coupons Aunt Kirsti gave us. We've been to this place a couple times now, so the boys really know what to do. I think the favorite is the giant slide. Although when I dove down, I got "plastic" burns on my hands & inside my elbows. Jared teased the snot out of me.  I actually got to play with the boys this time. Last time I was 9 mos preggers & tried going down the slide & squeezing through the holes, but I just ended up paranoid I had killed Charly in the womb. I sat & waited till I felt her move around so I knew she was alive.
Nate looks so tiny just sitting there.
Love this face.
Going down backwards.
The giant slide. We'll be back!

The boys through the years (all 3 1/2 of them)

I got some pictures taken the other day, decided to scan them for the blog. Then started looking at the older pictures behind newer ones in the frame. They were super cute. So I've scanned a few of the boys. There are obviously a lot more of Grant than Nathan (sorry Nate, that's the way it goes). But it's fun to see the ways they've both changed.

Above is the first professional picture taken of Grant.

A tad bit later.

My favorite that still hangs on the wall.
Never to be pushed back behind an updated one.

His famous "Charlie Brown" superman picture.
People at the photography place remembered him for awhile after this one.

Until yesterday (3/10/09) this was Grant's updated photo.

And this is my big boy! My, how he has grown.
I think it's funny that we chose the same pose & similar colors.
Not done on purpose.

Nathan doing his thing. I'm sure that with a 17 month old &
a newborn, it was my excuse for not having a younger picture taken of Nate.

This one of Nate was taken sometime end of 2008. I only take pics when I get free coupons in the mail. I'm sure they hate it when I come in since I typically only get the free sheet with no other purchases. This is why I only get pictures taken of one kid at a time. Then I'm not tempted to buy any other cute ones.

Family photo from 2005. (I really like my hair here)

Family photo 2007. It's a 10x13 so some edges got cut off when scanned.

We'll be taking pictures next week as a family & the 3 kids. Wish us luck!!

I finally got my family car sticker.
I think these things are so cute.
