Need Your Opinion

So I made this quilt for a Christmas gift.
I was going for funky, but not so sure about how it turned out.
Since I've been feeling a little sensitive lately, could you give me your opinion?
If you don't like it, could you be nice? Just need some reassurance.

I think it turned out great (and I'm not just trying to be nice. I really mean it)

Well I can't even sew so I think it's amazing.

It looks like a traditional quilt with a 1960's influence. I think it is cool looking. Of course the
60's were way before your time but the flowery border fabric reminds me of fabric I used to make a dress when I was in high school, just a different color. Yes,I know! I'm old! Anyway, the point is: I think it is a great looking quilt!

I like it and love the red and beige... the only thing that is sort of different is the white triangle in the middle... draws the eye to the one spot and you don't get pulled to the rest of the design in the quilt. Looks like you put a lot of hard work into it!

Oops, I shouldn't have read this post, should I? Because this is my Christmas present, right? Anyway, it looks terrific. I agree that the eye gets pulled to the middle pretty quick, so maybe that's what you're thinking, but I like it.
I think it shows how well you're doing at this arts and crafts thing... you're experimenting! Only real artists do that. The rest of us copy (or buy what others have done.)

I think it's awesome! I really like your fabric choices. Your talent blows me away (and I'm not just saying that either).

FFFEEEEWW! Glad it takes me about three months to catch up on friend's blogs or I would have ruined the surprise. We love this blanket! It's so beautiful. I got a quilt rack for Christmas and the quilt hangs beautifully on it. It matches our living room and everything! When people come over they comment on it. Everyone is jealous of me! Thanks Jennifer! You are an amazing seamstress!
