Charlotte did good bowling. But the boys LOVED bowling.

it was awesome. Is it a Utah thing?

Nate couldn't get to the next step on the play structure, 

so Grant had the idea to help him up. They really are great boys, 

kind to each other when they want to be.

I think Kirsti is having fun watching them. 

We missed having JB there. But he was there in spirit & through a game.

Then some family came!

Kristi's first visit to Temple Square.

And that's FIVE YEARS for us!!! There was free parking under the 

Conference Center that day.

 Why you ask? I don't really know I think it had something 

to do with being MY anniversary.

We had so much fun walking around 

& just being together. 

It was difficult to keep together as a group, 

but well worth the time for the company.

Then came mission comps....

Hunt

As missionaries they called each other by their first names,

now they use last names. Even us wives use Hunt & Hasleton.

Then here is my trainer who I ended up either living with, 

being companions with, or being right next door for half my mission.

Wait, that was her kid. Here she is!

Salvador (that's her maiden name) took us to Toscanos in Provo. 

A delicious Brazilian Grill. She even ate more than Jared, 

I know, impossible right?

We hung out for a bit, watched the kids be crazy.

I love these people & am so glad we got the chance to visit & 

spend time with them.  I really wish everyone else was closer so 

we could visit them too. Or we could be super rich 

& fly all around the world. 

It all started with Tahoe

We were very excited for our almost 2 week trip.

 It all started with a couple days in Provo for a family reunion. 

Then we added on a day or two to visit mission companions & places where I served. 

THEN why not go to St. George to see more people I served 

with & to visit some church history & Zion's National park. 

THEN we added on another day to go to Tahoe where

 a friend has a cabin & we could get a bigger head start.

 Whew, the planning was fun for me 

(packing got me all excited, seriously, I LOOOOOVE to pack!)

It was a little chilly, so we didn't walk down to the lake, but we went 

to a little hamburger joint that was yummy!! 

It's called Izzy's try the Cheddar Bacon, they have won awards for it.
