Charlotte turns 6!!

Uncle PJ had some Marriott points to blow, 

so we got a hotel room at Charly's favorite hotel 

and had some friends stay the night!!

She chose to have a friend birthday party. 

And a heart cake. 

Charly loves skirts, friends, drawing/coloring, 

and getting into jewelry. 

She had her ears pierced and is collecting cute earrings. 

First Day of School 2014

School is in!

Nate goes to second grade with Mrs. Lemos

Charlotte has Mrs. Ellefsen for Kinder. 

She is super excited to be leaving pre school to learn more. 

She loves school. 

 Elliott gets to start pre school! 

She is so excited to get to go to school like the others. 

Mommy is also excited for her. 

Elliott will get to use her energy and meet new people.

Airplane museum & Charly turns 5!!

First weekend of February is always free museum day! 

We tend to go to the aerospace museum. 

Super fun planes and activities. 

 Charly turned FIVE this year!

Charlotte goes to sunbeams

Charlotte was super excited to go to her new sunbeam class first Sunday in January. 

At our church, children 18 months -3 years go to nursery. 

The year that they turn 4, they get to go to "big" primary with the other big kids. 

She chose her own outfit, so did Elle. They look like an ad for Pepto Bismol. 

First Days of School

It's been busy around the Hasleton household! School has started!

Homework, flyers, PTG meetings, what not to wear, schedules, etc.

Here are the boys on their first day. 9-4-12

Grant to Second, Nate to Kinder

Charlotte one week later 9-10-12 to preschool. 

She has a carrot in her mouth. Wouldn't swallow it for anything.

And Grant gets his first pair of glasses. 

I'm so nervous for them. Not the cheapest things around. 

But it's fun watching him be able to see. 

He keeps moving them up & down at things & saying, "wow, it's blurry, then it's not." 

It's so hilarious & sad at the same time. 

I'm waiting to see what gets better for him with good vision. 

The poor kid has been walking around with a worse vision than me. And I can't see squat.

Charles Turns 3!!

We threw Charly her first bday party princess style.

There is no other style for this girl.

I always said my girls would be tom boys.

But I guess they come pre programmed.

This one is 100 percent girl, drama included.

Balloons & bubbles did most of the entertainment.

Injury tantrum was not a disappointment.

Even Elles liked the outfits.

Decorating animal shaped sugar cookies.

The animals were all the princess' friends.

Playing dress up.

I can't believe you're 3. It seems you're more like 14.

You love princess movies, toys, dolls, dress up.

Getting you to say please has been a torturous battle

these last few months. But then you're sweet as pie

when you really want something.

You play well with your siblings

& throw great public tantrums for all to see.

Everyone tells you how beautiful you are,

I think it's getting to your head.

But you're our sweet heart.
